Mission To Jackson is a reflection of the very DNA of Redeemer Church, “A Community Church for the city.”

Redeemer was born out of a heart to reach people with the gospel across the street as well as across the seas.  These mission efforts to our city are seen in our ministry to families touched by disabilities called R.A.Y.S. and our ministry to the fatherless, Abba’s Hope, Fathers in the Field and Sons of the King. We are touching the “least of these” through tackling the hurts of the homeless through Jackson Street Ministries. We are working within the Broadmoor community to stabilize the community through affordable housing and mercy ministry efforts like Mission To Broadmoor, One Harvest Food Ministry, and The Broadmoor Garden.  We are reaching into the educational system with the gospel through teaming up with ministries like Jackson Youth for Christ and Child Evangelism Fellowship.  Other efforts to share the good news of Jesus with our beloved city will be seen in our reaching out to the mid-town area and the historic Farish Street District.  God is at work in Redeemer and in our beloved city, and if you sense that God is calling you to get involved in these and other avenues of service and evangelism to Jackson, please contact Barry McCay at bmccay99@comcast.net.
